JOHN HANNAWALT, one of the oldest settlers of Perry Township, died at his residence on the 9th. inst., aged 81 years.  MICHAEL ZIMMERS, living on the adjoining farm, died the same day, aged about 60 years.  The funerals of both occurred on Friday morning at 10 o'clock.

In the issue dated 24 April 1884 (Vol. 34, No. 23) ... the following additional information about Mr. Hannawalt and Mr. Zimmers was given ....

DIED -- In Perry Twp., April 7th., John Hannawalt, aged 81 years.

DIED -- In Jefferson Twp., April 9th., Michael Zimmers, aged 64 years.
